Liz,

I just realized why you asked if I was a landscaper. I'm standing with a shovel. That's me in Costa Rica 5 years ago planting trees!

That is SO SO wonderful. I am very much hoping to pull faith communities into this project. It seems like such a natural growing for themselves and people in the communities in need. So much land is unused and it's one of the things that many faith groups have in excess...even if they are cash poor in many cases.

Good for you! Please post some more photos in the photo section when you have time! I would love to see more of the gardens!

No, Liz,I cook for a group of priests at their residence / offices. I always wondered what it would be be like if they turned their huge (40 acres) property into a self sustaining permaculture. I made a presentation last year to their governing council encouraging them to go more sustainable. They formed a green commission on my suggestion, and the garden is one of the steps that they've adopted.

So so awesome! So when you say client...what are you doing exactly? Are you a landscaper?

I can't take credit except I've convinced a major client to go green. The maintenance guys built it for the garden that we'll be installing this Spring!
