I have a yard in Cypress Park, right near Highland Park. Looking for help in getting started. I have a raised bed that is empty and no idea what to do with it. Any gardening buddy would be welcome!

Have a yard in the Miracle Mile/LACMA area, with a couple of small greenhouses for seed starting.  Would like to get rid of my front lawn and expand my raised beds.

Hello All,

I've been away for a while but I'm back now and have some plans for my 12000SF lot...  I would like to donate the land to a CBO (503c).  It would be fabulous if this nonprofit could then allow people to use the land to grow TREES.  The land is on a slope so unless it is terraced, it would be hard to grow.  If someone wants to start such a nonprofit around Community Gardening, I would be more than happy to donate the land.  I believe that 503c's don't pay property taxes...  maybe someone can verify that.  I think this offer has some POTENTIAL.  Please forward to other pods/groups if you think there are other members that might know how to get this moving.  Thanks.

Hi All. I just joined. How cool is this site?!?! Looking for some gardening space. I've used up all the available space at my co-op/condo. I am in North Hollywood (Valley Glen) near Coldwater Canyon & Victory. Have experience with ground, raised beds, and containers. And the desire! I also put up pickles, preserves, etc. and happy to share my knowlege in that area as well.

Hey all,

I am taking advantage of the DWP's rebate program to add some gardening space above the 8x15 I have in the backyard. I am a week or so away for completing the conversion of my large front yard into (9) 4'x10' raised beds. I am in Sherman Oaks and would love to be able to share the garden space with others...

Anyone around that might be interested?

Hi all:

Just discovered this great site! It's spring, and I'm itching to grow something. The local Community gardens have wait lists, so I'm hoping someone with a yard near me will let me plant some veggies, herbs, and flowers for a share of the bounty. Have several seasons of experience and and am willing to share whatever knowledge I've accumulated.

Here's wishing everyone a great growing season!

Hi All,
I'm in Santa Monica and am looking for a yard to start gardening in. Mario, did anything ever happen with that 12.000 square feet?

Hey Robert,

Have you tried the INVITE feature, someone in your personal network may be interested or know someone who is!

Take care,
Liz

Hey all: I need help!! LARGE YARD, I've got a small garden going but want to get some people involved who know more than me. I can't believe that with all the people who want to garden in L.A., there's no one who want's a space on a beautiful large lot in a great neighborhood. If no one wants to share, I would love some advice....a mentor or something. Let me know, thanks, Robert
