Love to connect with folks in the Triangle interested in collaborating on neighborhood yardshares, and/or community or neighborhood gardening.  Anyone going to the Shared Tables event next week?

I have a garden in Fuquay Varina. The soil is good, but it is too much for me to handle by myself - just can't keep up with the weeding and watering. Enough space for 4-6 people to help out and share the take.

Hi. I have some land south of Carrboro a couple of miles. I am developing a permaculture system, and growing a kitchen garden for a local restaurant. But could easily accommodate a couple more people.

I totally understand. Good luck to you, Matt - and thanks for creating the thread!

Raleigh is a bit far for me, but I really hope you two can work something out! I'm also going to start some discussion threads for the different cities so we can get a real conversation going about yardshares.

I don't really have a yard , and very little experience gardening, but I'm interested in getting started... I'd love to get this group up and going. I live in Raleigh, near Caryish I suppose. Stephanie, I think using your yard sounds phenomenal. Let's make something happen! What say you two? Are we too late for the fall? Also, I may have a friend or 3 that would be interested in getting involved too!

I have a yard/garden area but very little experience/luck with growing veggies or herbs. Not sure what is seasonal now to be planted for fall. If you are interested let me know. I see you live in Durham, I am in Raleigh, close to Whole Foods off Wade Ave-- might be bit of a drive, but up to you.

Hey guys! I don't have a yard, but I would love to come garden if someone has a yard they wish to share. I'm also interested starting up a cooperative chicken flock if anyone is interested in that.
