I have some land and I'm looking for gardeners - What should I do?

Go to PODS/GROUPS and search for your geographic area. Try the nearest city. If your neighborhood has a name search for that.

If there IS a area group near you:

  1. join it
  2. introduce yourself
  3. tell folks about the space you have
  4. let folks know what you are looking for
  5. ask people to send you a message if they are interested
  6. check back every few weeks because people are signing up every day!

If there is NO area group near you:

  1. congratulate your self for your innovative spirit
  2. click on ADD GROUP at the top of the PODS/GROUPS page
  3. fill out the details (Use group title like ATHENS, GA - SEEKING YARDSHARES) putting place name first.
  4. be sure to spell your town or city and state correctly or it may not show up for people
  5. add a cool picture so I can feature your group
  6. then start with step 2 above.

Pods are just private groups. You can start a pod for your own garden and invite people to it. It's a group you will manage for the communications in your yard sharing group once you have found your first gardening partners.

You can set your own pod to "private" but please don't do this for an area group such as "Seeking Yardsharing Partners in San Diego, CA"

If you have any questions - use the green FEEDBACK button on the right.
