Yardshare - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

A yardsharing group for Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada. Because if the Victorians in the 1800s grew pineapples through winter using technology no more sophisticated than glass and horse-shit, so can we.

Profile Information

Gardening Experience
a few seasons
Gardening Philosophy and Preferred Methods:
I would like to achieve organic permaculture gardening in cold-weather climates, using only renewable sources of energy to sustain year-round crops. The Victorians grew pineapples in their houses using technology no more sophisticated than glass and horse-shit. I reckon we can do one better.
Skills and Tools I can share:
I have experience in drafting and design, and can contribute skills in planning and building garden layouts, as well as an extra set of hands wherever are needed.
My interest in yard sharing:
actively seeking gardeners, actively seeking yard to share, I have land I would like to share
