"@Lori, looks like that would be maybe an hour - probably too far for a weekly/regular thing. But thanks! If you ever need to do a big one-day job, or want worm composting for fertilizer - let me know."
"I start school at St Francis in August, possibly May. Anyone have a garden in the Joliet-area that could use some free labor? I'm a newbie and will need some coaching on what to do, but I would love to help out & I can bring compost or worm…"
"I tried to contact them to let them know about this resource - sent them the link & suggested they check it out. This is the response I got back:
Hi Lisa, We are launching a yard share program this spring. We hope you’ll get involved!…"
local and organic, obviously - but I don't really have any experience so I don't know
Skills and Tools I can share:
Worm castings, money, time & physical labor. I live in a townhouse and have no yard available - but would be love to find someone with a yard and/or garden where I could contribute to planting, tending, picking, etc. Also, I do worm composting so I give away compost and worm juice.
My interest in yard sharing:
actively seeking yard to share, learning about gardening, just curious
